How is it that this week flew by so quickly? Anywho, I'm here with a variety of trendy boots for under $80, which will allow you to be fashion forward this fall without spending too much!

I don't know about you, but I love boots, pretty much anytime of year, but the fall and winter are the perfect seasons!

I got a pair of Steve Madden flat riding boots last year that I just love, worn with a cute above the knee dress or over leggings or jeans, but his updated version of them below, are delightful with the buckle accents!

LOOK OF THE DAY: CASUAL BUT SMART CLASSIC TAUPE, BLACK AND GOLD

Wanted to do a quick Look of the Day post of a casual, but smart taupe and black look that I sported at a casual Oscar party last weekend, which was super fun! I am a huge fan of taupes these days in design, fashion, home decor and even make-up!

My complete look, from head to toe, was around $115 and consisted of some great buys, like my comfortable black pumps, which I found at It's A Wrap for only $10, a store that sells clothing and accessories used in film and on TV and worn by the stars and actors. Since things have been used before, but are still in great condition, you can find some designer things at a really great price!

I took a few pictures from the Oscar party that I shared in my Wordless Wednesday last week, via my instagram pictures, but thought I'd share them in this post too!
She had the most amazing spread of hot and cold appetizers and snacks, and our friend Kimberly made this incredible Red Carpet Fizz cocktail, it was delish! We all filled out our Oscar ballots too, and then, switched around the room to see who got the most right as we watched the show, and we all had a great time! :)

LOOK OF THE DAY: BLUE, WHITE AND SILVER 107 DEGREE WEATHER APPROVED ATTIRE

Happy Monday, friends!

I hope you all had a lovely weekend, and those of you back east made it through Hurricane Irene okay! You all have been hit by so many things recently, including the unexpected earthquake.

Most of my family and friends are back east in the NYC, NJ, D.C. and NC areas, and most were pretty lucky with just flooding, a few trees down and loss of electricity, but my best friend's grandfather's home, which is in the same town as my parent's, caught on fire and he lost it and a lot of memories in it all, which held memories for me too from growing up and spending a lot of time there when I was little, but he is fine and that is what is most important!

Thankfully, LA has been storm, and even earthquake free, but quite hot in the valley! It was 107 the other day and humid, which is not normal in LA LA Land! So, I put my hair up, partially still wet, which is why it looks darker, put on a pair of shorts and flip flops with a lightweight, cut out white blouse and headed out for the day!

This look came in under $100 from head to toe, including accessories, minus the LOVE necklace that one of my best friends sent me for my birthday in a darling silver love and box. I simply ♥ it and it just makes me smile wearing it! :)

This look can easily be copied for the same price or less, and if you add a little silver necklace from Forever 21 you could still come in under $100!

Oh and I promise to try to get more exciting background for my pictures soon...can't wait until my fiancé and I officially have a place together and I will be a personal photographer on hand to take them in different environments! LOL!

LOOK OF THE DAY: NIGHT OUT ON MELROSE FOR A FRIEND'S 30TH

Happy Monday aka start of the week day!

I am here with a Look of the Day as promised last week! I sported this outfit on Saturday night for a friend's 30th birthday celebration at the Village Idiot on Melrose, which was a lot of fun!

I just went into my closet, pulled out a simple dress from Forever 21 and started pulling some fun accessories to pair with it! Truth be told, the look was all put together around my large, gold flower ring I recently bought at an LA boutique! :)

I like to keep things rather simple and have a little fun with accessories. What I like most about it is the fun color of my dress and that the entire outfit was only about $71, which is truly fabulous...or should I say truly outrageous as Jem used to for all you children of the 80's! ;)

LOOK 4 LESS: RACHEL McADAMS 64TH CANNES FILM FESTIVAL

As many of you know, blogger has been down and truth be told I was in a little withdrawal! ;)

However, now that it is back the draft I had of this post restored only the title, not the content, so, I redid it and am sorry for the late post today!

Anywho, I thought I would round out the week with a Fashion Friday celebrity Look 4 Less, as promised!

Currently, the 64th Cannes Film Festival is taking place in Cannes, France and so I thought it would be appropriate to re-create a look sported on the red carpet during the festival.

I have chosen Rachel McAdam's lovely, classic, spring neutral look in a way I think it is very wearable! Plus, I happen to be a big fan of hers and so I had a lot of fun with it too!
