LOOK OF THE DAY: FRIEND'S BIRTHDAY DINNER AT L'ARTUSI IN THE VILLAGE

Happy Monday, Everyone!
On Saturday evening, some friends and I dressed up and headed to the village for dinner at L'Artusi to celebrate the Lovely Lindsay's birthday, while she was in town from LA LA Land, and we had a wonderful time!
I chose to wear my new turquoise dress from Forever 21, and had fun pairing it with some fun jewelry and color blocking with a cobalt blue cami, since I don't like things to be too low cut or revealing...prefer keeping it classy! :)
Everything I wore was super affordable, at only about $60 for pretty much the entire look, and I simply love turquoise, aquas and blues together in the summer!  All in all, we had a lovely time! :)

I happen to love the first pair, and how perfect for a pop of color during this color blocking trend! Each are pretty practical and the last offers a bit of sparkle for those of you who enjoy that from time to time! :)

There are so many ways to wear a nautical look this summer and sport some blue and white stripes...even if you're not a Yankee fan like I am! ;)

In fact, I have a few variations on the look, including blue denim shorts, jeans or even a navy blue skirt other than with the white skirt I chose this time.
