PICTURE SHOW: COLOR VIBE 5K - GO TEAM RAINBOW IN SUPPORT OF AVA'S ANGELS

Happy Thursday, Everyone!

I’ve been road tripping from NYC to Albuquerque, NM.  So, I apologize for the lack of posts this week, but I’m back today with one from OOOklahoma.

On Saturday, June 28th, 6 friends and I, who made up Team Rainbow, took part in the Color Vibe 5k in Morris County, NJ and had an absolutely blast!

Since first hearing about the Color Vibe, via a blog a few years ago, I have had it on my 'Ladder List' (friends and my form of a Bucket List), and am so happy I got to cheek that one off.

We all teamed up and decided to not only do it for fun, but also for a good cause. We raised money, and sold bracelets, for Ava’s Angels.  All proceeds went towards medical bills for our friend’s daughter, Ava, who is flighting liver cancer.

Below are some of the many pictures from the day.  A true rainbow wonderland, which also happens to be my friend Lena and my dream world. 

Also, if you ever have the chance to be a part of the Color Vibe, I highly recommend it.  In fact, we all plan on doing it again next year. Enjoy!

CHARITY: AVA'S ANGELS 'TEAM RAINBOW' COLOR VIBE 5K RUN FOR A CAUSE

Happy Monday, Everyone!

On June 28th, some of my greatest friends and I will be running the 5k Color Vibe. 

After a friend of our's daughter, Ava, was diagnosed with Hepatoblastoma, a very rare form of liver cancer, we teamed up to raise money for her and her families medical and travel, to and from the hospital, expenses by turning this fun run into one for a good cause.

We have named ourselves Team Rainbow and plan to run the race in rainbow tutus because every girl deserves a tutu moment...especially one in support of this little, and very vibrant, princess!

The 1st is by donating any amount you wish via Ava's Angels Fundraising Page, via You Caring, where 100% of the proceeds go directly towards Ava's medical expenses.
