GET CRAFTY: STARBURST ART DIY USING RECYCLED TOILET AND PAPER TOWEL ROLLS

Happy, Happy Monday, Blogland!

It's Get Crafty time, which means I'm here with a fun, easy and super affordable DIY project for you!  Yay!

After Hurricane Sandy, and the 2 week power outage in which I found myself, I started crafting!  Since without power, came no TV, internet, etc., plus it was only light out during a few hours of the day, so, I sat in the sunniest part of the house and let my creative juices flow.

I began cutting up toilet paper and paper towel rolls, which had accumulated over time, and set them out on a table in different formations.

Once I had some power, I hot glued them together and ta-da!  It was super easy, and since I already owned a hot glue gun and glue sticks, was recycling what was left from toilet paper and paper towels, it really cost nothing, just a little time and creativity

The petal formations and art creation ideas and possibilities are really endless, I'd love to see the ones you come up with if you give it a try!

I'll be back on Wednesday with pictures from the past week, and hope you have a lovely start to the week!

Side note, CONGRATULATIONS to Prince William and Princess Kate on the announcement that they are expecting a baby, I am so happy for them! :)
