LOVELY LILAC LOOK

I put together a lovely lilac look that is perfect for spring and oh so fitting for Easter, which is just around the corner and a nice time to bring out a fun color! The look was created with items from Forever 21, Wet Seal and Target for just over $100 from head to toe! :)

Speaking of Easter, I am gearing up for a trip to Indiana with the unexpected love of my life for his super sister's wedding as well as to celebrate Easter with his family at his grandmother's. Needless to say, I am oh so excited for our fun adventure and what is sure to be a fun time celebrating some great things! I'll be sure to take lots of pics, per usual, and post them when I get back as well as a rundown of some of my looks!

In fact, I was thinking of doing a sensible travel post and thought I would see if any of you, my fabulous blog readers, would be interested in that! If so, just leave it in the comments below along with any of your travel questions and I shall post it all in an upcoming blog!

Also, I know I haven't been posting as frequently, but I've been sick and super busy with work, but shall soon be back with many more posts, so, get ready...hehe...and thank you again for your continued support! :)

Oh yes, and for those of you who are all about going green, so to speak, the below look could be paired with this adorable recyclable and reusable tote below, from Forever 21, which happens to match the outfit perfectly and will keep your look casual, yet fresh! :)

  3. The purple rock ring is fantastic! I would love it if you did a travel post. It always makes me smile when you refer to your guy as the "unexpected love of your life", I can totally relate :) Have a fabulous trip.

    Stay sassy, sweet, and smiling!

  4. Funny you should mention it, I'd love a blog devoted to traveling in style (without over packing or over spending)! I'm going to France for 2 weeks in early June and am already wondering what to pack. 2 weeks and one suitcase - yikes!
I'd also love to know what make-up products you use. Your eyelashes always look great and your skin glowing :) We need to know your secrets, hee hee.

  5. Diana - Thank you so much! I will do a travel post next week before I leave for sure! Also know that your comments always make me smile! :)

Greta - It looks like a travel post is a must, so I will plan to document what I pack, how I pack, etc. and would be happy to show you what make-up and skin products I use...they are almost all very affordable! Also, I am so happy to hear you comment on my lashes...I used to have super short lashes and since I am a natural blonde, my lashes are light and without mascara, I felt like you couldn't see my eyes...hehe...I recently started using a lash product from Sephora that has worked wonders and I will do a post all about that too! Thank you so much for your support and wonderful comment! :)
