CHECKING IN FROM ONE OF THE GREATEST CITIES IN THE WORLD

Happy Thursday
, Everyone!!!

I failed to find the time to post yesterday, so sorry! Things have been super busy, but I'm loving every moment! :)

I've been getting to know new areas of the city that I never explored when I lived in Manhattan years ago, as well as Brooklyn Heights, Carroll Gardens and Cobble Hill, with which I am officially in love!!!
(Picture I took of NYC on my iPhone 4S from the "Top of the Tower" bar over by the UN and East River.)

There are endless charming, different and super fun restaurants, coffee shops, bistros and bars with the most unique and amazing decor and architecture! I can't even begin to express just how happy it all makes me...things just feel right, as they say! :)
(Pictures I took on my iPhone 4S via my instagram.)

The number of people I have met in just the past few days alone is remarkable, and most of them are so full of life, smiles and positive energy, while being outgoing, charming and polite with such great life stories, goals for the future and love for life!

Plus, I got to be back in the greatest city for the 4th of July celebration yesterday, and let's just say NYC knows how to put on a great firework show! This year it was over the Hudson and that last time I saw them here it was over the East River...always changing things up and keeping it fresh!

Anywho, that is a quick update from me! I'll be having a rather big picture show soon, here on my blog, to catch you all up on the past couple weeks, including the Yankee game with my boyfriend, Jeter! ;)

Needless to say, things have been lovely! Till next time! :)

  8. OMG - there is a restaurant called "Buschenschank" in NYC?! This is so funny, I live in Austria and "Buschenschänken" are here everywhere! Is it run by a German or Austrian, do you probably know that? Wonder if it has a lot in common with our local ones... If it does, it must have been quite special to you! :-D

    1. How cool is that! I had never been before, but we stumbled upon it while out and about during the day on the 4th of July walking around Brooklyn Heights and they had some great beers and it was a really fun place with a lot of character...I'll have to find out more! :)
