FASHIONS AND ESSENTIALS ON A HOLIDAY ROAD TRIP WITH THE KIA SOCIAL CLUB

Happy, Happy Wednesday, Blogland!

I am baaaaaaaaaack...and could not be happier, boy, how I've missed you all!!!

What a whirlwind and adventure the last 2 1/2 weeks have been without power in the wake of Hurricane Sandy, and what catching up I have to do!  Looking forward to all your lovely blogs, and getting my blog back up to speed!

First off, I wanted to kick off my holiday and gift giving themed blogs, which I often do this time of year, so, when the KIA contacted me about teaming up with Fabulous Fashions 4 Sensible Style to do a little Holiday Road Trip Feature, it got my creative juices flowing, and I knew it would be the perfect place to start!

I don't know about you, but I love road trips, and have been on quite a few over the years, especial with my move from LA to NYC this year!  When it comes to holiday trips on the open road, there are 3 things that are a must have for moi to have along...

1. Cozy Clothing

2. Caffeine-filled Comfort Beverages

3. Jammin' Tunes

So, I put together a few of my must haves below, which are also affordable, including what I would sport and take with me when hitting the road this holiday season!

Share your thoughts in the comments below!!!

To help spread the word and get the conversation going share your must haves on Facebook and/or Twitter (@kiaand (@sensiblestyleusing #kiaholidays so we can find your must haves, as well as get other bloggers involved! :)

Let's start spreading the holiday cheer!  I'll be back on Friday with my Hurricane Sandy experience and picture show from before, during and after, and the entire 2 week power outage!

Thank you so much for your patience over the last couple weeks, and for all the support and messages I received! ♥

  6. What I love most about road trips are just the conversations that we have as a family. We play silly games and just talk to each other about everything. It is really a special time. My must haves are slip on shoes, comfy pants and a jacket or sweater. I also like to have a book on my iPod to listen to if Jemma gets in a movie mode!

    1. That just made me think about road trips when I was little...we would play the one where we try to find every state license plate in the US! :)

  10. My essentials are: chapsticks (I'm quite addicted...), paper tissues for my BF (always needs them - never has them), a blanket, an all-weather-jacket that can also be used as a pillow, cereal bars, some money and a first aid kit. Wow - quite a lot! ;-)
