FLIRTY AND FEMININE HAUL: FOREVER21.COM

Here I am with a quick little haul from Forever21.com, which I was able to enjoy thanks to a gift card I got from my sister, brother-in-law and adorable nephews for my birthday...so "Thank You" to them!

Forever 21 is currently offering free shipping on all orders over $50, which means I didn't pay anything to get it delivered to my apt. and was able to affordably spend every penny, which you know I love!

My lovely package as it arrived...I always enjoy opening them even though I know what is inside!

Little Gold Eternity Knit Ring - $1.50

Coral Pink Ruched Rib Cardigan (front) - $19.80

Coral Pink Ruched Rib Cardigan (back) - $19.80

Cream Pleat Cluster Chiffon Love Contemporary Dress (front) - $27.80

Cream Pleat Cluster Chiffon Love Contemporary Dress (back) - $27.80

Button back closure detail on the dress.

Ruffle detail around the neck of the dress.

I hope you enjoyed my little haul and keep in mind I just placed the order last week and received it within about 3 or 4 days, which was wonderful, and they might still be available at your local Forever 21 store or online!

Enjoy the rest of your week and your weekend ahead! I'm heading to Pawley's Island in South Carolina for a friend's wedding super early tomorrow, Friday morning, for the weekend, but will be back next week with more fun posts and pictures, of course! :)

FOREVER 21 FALL JEWELRY HAUL

Hey, Everyone!

I hope your week is going swimmingly, as they say, so far!

So, today after work, I ran by Forever 21 to spend some of my birthday gift card money. I ended up buying some fun rings and necklaces for fall and thought I would share them with you in a little Fall Jewelry Haul! :)

Those of you who read my blog know how much I love Forever 21 for accessories because they are just so darn affordable that you can't go wrong...even if they are in one minute and out the next! :)

Keep in mind I just got each of these today and most are from their new stock for fall, so, if you see something you like, you should be able to run out and get it at your local Forever 21. Or else some are even available online, in which case, I provided a link below it to make it easy for you!

Grey Sparkle Dome Ring / Black and Gold Flower Ring /
Silver Sparkle Dome Ring
Forever 21 - $4.80 / $4.80 / $4.80
(silver sparkle dome ring)

Dainty Silver Key Necklace / Dainty Gold Key Necklace
Forever 21 - $3.80 / $3.80

Delicate Silver Long Leaf Necklace
Forever 21 - $4.80
(similar silver leaf necklace)

Long Gold and Cream Bead Layered Strand Necklace
Forever 21 - $5.80
(silver & cream necklace)

I usually get longer, statement necklaces, but recently have also enjoyed the little, more dainty ones, which is why I got the little key necklaces.

Plus, since the price was such a steal, I decided to go with one in silver and one in gold with the intention of possibly detaching the lock and just leaving the key because one side of the lock has sparkles (as you can see online via the link above) and might be a bit too much for me...what do you think?

Also, chunky ring are some of my favorite things in life and I just can't get enough of them, even though my collection is a wee bit big at this moment! Almost all are super affordable, of course, and I currently keep them separated by gold and silver to have some sort of organization, which can be tough with so many...maybe I'll show you sometime if interested! :)

Other than jewelry, I purchased a few Fall clothing items as well, which I will share with you as I wear them and in looks of the day! Thanks for checking out my little haul and I hope you all have a Wonderful Wednesday ahead!

Also, I might not be posting as frequently over the next month, but will try to update you along the way and post pictures from my adventures on the road trip and beyond, at the weddings, in NYC and more along with what affordable fashions I am sporting or have put together! :)

Feel free to let me know if there is anything you hope to see and I will try to capture that for you and over the next month I will try my best to take each of you on my adventure-filled journey!

Now I am off to pack, pack, pack...

FOREVER 21 HAUL: MY TURQUOISE GREEN BAG MUST HAVE

As many of you know, I love Forever 21 and finding fashionable items for an affordable price, which fits that store oh so well! :)

While walking around downtown Pasadena with my unexpected love Justin a few weeks ago, I came across this lovely turquoise green hobo bag, with brass hardware on it, that I simply loved...and I adore bigger bags that can hold everything, aka "feed bags" as my mother once referred to them and I now call them! LOL!

Anywho, I kept coming back to it in the store, but was trying to save money and decided to pass and wait until I had a little extra to spend and put my shopping impulse break on! :)

So, once I got my next paycheck, my first stop was to Forever 21 to get the very bag I had eyed just a week prior, which I also thought would be fun for summer and my road trip from LA to NYC! Needless to say, I hit 3 different Forever 21 stores and the bag was nowhere to be found...another reason why if you really love something and find yourself drawn to it, it is best to get it right away, especially when it can be returned later, something my mother once told me.

This also reminds me of something one of my best friends from high school Lena told me while we were shopping at H&M on 5th Ave. in NYC, when we both lived there after college, she said, in response to a jacket I kept eyeing, "you had better buy it now or you will be dreaming about it tonight!" :)

I still felt I needed the bag, silly perhaps, but it was further reinforced when I saw a beauty blogger on YouTube, Miss Blair Juicystar07, do a Forever 21 haul and show that exact bag! Next stop, I went to Forever 21 online! I am notorious for putting things in my shopping bag and never actually checking out! Ha! Therefore, this bag, along with a few other items, sat in my online shopping bag for about a week and I thought I had better complete my order before that bag is "no longer in stock!"

Then, right before Justin and I headed on our trip to Indiana for his sister's wedding and Easter, I did just that, which marked the very first time I ever purchased items online from Forever 21, but it felt good and I was excited to see it all once we returned!

Upon our arrival, back home after our trip, what happily greeted me?!? You guessed it, a white box with Forever 21 on it sitting right outside my apt. door! :) Justin asked me what it was and I said, my order from Forever 21! He then said, did you get that green bag? I said, yes, and he said, I was going to get that for you, but when I went back to the store they were all out and I couldn't find it! See my fabulous followers, it really is a must to get things right when you see them!

Side note, I went online the night we got back from our trip and guess what? The bag was no longer available online, needless to say, I am so glad I put my order through before I left! :)

Anywho, below is my order from Forever 21 and I have to say that I was very impressed with how neatly they packed everything, how organized it was and how much I loved each item I get! I even forgot that I had ordered a couple items, which is why it is always so excited to get a package and open it up! :)

Oh yes, and I wanted to get free shipping, so I threw in a couple items to put me that limit since you can always return them in store, but I'm happy with all my purchases and won't be returning any...woo hoo!

Enjoy and happy shopping...online and in store! :)

Black Cinched Sweetheart Bodysuit - $ 17.80
Item # 80708312012
(I loved the embellished straps and thought I would pair it with a skirt, which this could tuck into and have a sleek line made to look like a tank!)

Olive Embroidered Garden Skirt - $ 12.50
Item # 73963321073
(I thought this would be cute with my camel boots or some fun neutral or gold sandals or flip flops)

Pink Two in One Cosmetic Brush - $ 3.80
Item # 73265173021
(I wasn't sure how soft this would be due to the price, but it is super soft!)

Rose Flower Bronzer Blush - $ 3.80
Item # 71880487011

3-Pack Low Cuff Socks - $5.80
Item # 71900224031
(This was one of my extra purchases to get free shipping that I thought would be useful for my upcoming camping trip in Death Valley and the quality is great, they are thick and soft!)

Turquoise Green Stud Pleated Hobo Bag - $ 32.80
Item # 71646739031
(My pièce de résistance! ;))

BUILD FROM BASICS: SUPER MINI TARGET & FOREVER 21 HAUL

I stopped by Target and Forever 21 before a fitting for a bridesmaid dress for one of my best friend's weddings happening this summer and thought I would share what I got with you via a super mini haul! I had been hunting for a good pair of versatile black round toed heeled pumps at an affordable price, of course! :)

I came to find that the round toe looks better when in need of shoes to be paired with black opaque tights and a skirt. Even though I am a fan of the pointy toe, which many, especially guys, think look like witches shoes...hehe...they don't look as great, in my eyes, paired with tights, especially if they have any straps around the ankle! :)

One of my favorite stores, as many of you know, is Forever 21 for finding a variety of fashionable looks at super affordable prices, so, that even if it is just a phase in fashion or current trend, it is okay if you only wear it a few times during one season. I especially love Forever 21 for accessories and think accessories can really tie an outfit together!

Since the nautical look is in, as I displayed in one of my previous blogs, I picked up a silver and gold anchor necklace. Truth be told I stood there looking at both, putting them against the nautical colors they had out, and was trying to decide which I thought I would pair most with the red, white and blues. After much deliberation...hehe...I thought the silver looks good because blue and white are cooler colors, but I love gold paired with red and when pairing red, white and blue together, like during the 4th of July, I always go with gold accessories, so at $5.80 each, I just went ahead an bought both.

I figure if I pair the blue and white striped look with a white skirt or blue jeans, I'll wear the silver one and if I wear blue and white paired with my red hobo bag or some sort of red for an additional punch of color, as my mother always says, I'll wear the gold! :) Let me know which you think, gold or silver, pairs best with the nautical look and which you would choose to wear if sporting that look in the comments below!

Other than that, I picked up a few basics, which can always come in handy! :) Plus, Forever 21 has an assortment of colored short sleeved T-shirts, in both scoop and v-neck, for only $3.50 each! You can't beat that, especially when you can get them in a wide variety of colors and when they are super soft with a hint of spandex, which will help it keep a good shape over time.

Thanks so much for coming on this mini haul with me, I'll be sure to post more in the future and even videos of my shopping adventures and all the affordable goodies I pick up along the way! Oh yes, and just click on the item description to be linked to where you can purchase each yourself online! :)

Remember that Fabulous Fashions 4 Sensible Style can be created off very basic items that you then build from with accessorize, a great bag, a fun, bright pair of shoes, etc. and all at very affordable prices while creating your own personal style. Even when trying to keep up with the trends, you can take the basics you already have and throw on something that follows the current trend, since they change so quickly, such as an anchor necklace for the nautical trend or a tie dye scarf for the tie dye trend.

Ultimately, I truly believe that looking great is all in how you put an outfit together, not how much you spend, and by paying attention to small details that make the look your own!
