Happy Wednesday, Everyone!
Hope you all are enjoying your week so far! I have been keeping busy and got to enjoy a weekend with friends I've known or 24 years and counting, which was fantastic!
It's that time of the week again, which means Whatever Wednesdays with Shay and Alissa, and today's topic is . . .
F A V O R I T E R E C I P E
Those who know me will know I do not cook.
I prefer baking if I'm going to be in the kitchen doing any sort of "cooking," but simple baking, like cookies, cupcakes, brownies, etc.
This is more because I don't really enjoy it, live on my own and just want to eat when I want to eat with little prep time.
Both my sisters are fantastic cooks/bakers and enjoy it, but I take after my mother...we prefer cleaning to cooking.
One of my all time favorite meals, which you will always find in my kitchen, is none other than...Kraft Macaroni & Cheese!
Let's be clear...
It must be the Kraft brand of macaroni & cheese in the original box.
Not the microwavable kind, not the shapes, not the extra cheesy, just plain old, original Kraft mac & cheese in the blue and orange box.
And yes, It with most likely be my dinner this evening! :)
Kraft Macaroni & Cheese
1 Box Kraft Mac & Cheese
6 Cups of Water in Saucepan
1/4 Cup of Milk
2 Tbsp. of Butter or Margarine*
but definitely creamer with it.)
I love taking something that is simple and easy to make, and spicing it up a bit.
ReplyDeleteMy (not so) secret ingredient I add to mac & cheese is a little bit of garlic powder.
Oh Kraft's Mac'n Cheese always reminds me a bit on "Home Alone" - a great childhood memorie:)!
ReplyDeleteBye,
NIKA B.
P.S.: Bon Appetit!
Looks awesome to me!!!
ReplyDeleteloving this.
ReplyDeleteI think it's hilarious that you broke down the non-appropriate Mac n' Cheeses to purchase. I add frozen peas to mine as well, but I'm also a bit of a lunatic and I will add salsa, just for a kick. Just trust me.
ReplyDeleteHaha I love this! I always seem to buy a box EVERY time I go to the store, though spirals seem to be my fave.
ReplyDeleteReally, is there anything better than Kraft Mac? I think not!
