TRAVEL DIARY: ASPEN, COLORADO - JOHN DENVER SANCTUARY AND NEWBURY PARK

Happy Monday, Everyone!
At the bottom of the hill, from our HomeAway rental, there was a beautiful park where children can play, you can picnic, hike or simply relax.  
The two main areas are the John Denver Sanctuary, which is gorgeous with a beautiful stream and pond, and Newbury Park.
We took a long walk down the different paths and hiking trails, which was so peaceful and relaxing.  I was taken away from life for a little, and truly began to realize just how happy and at home I was in Aspen, it was a truly unexpected feeling.
That evening my nephews, sister, brother-in-law and I relaxed outside, overlooking the gorgeous view from the backyard of our rental home, as the magical light before sunset swept in gracefully.  The light truly is one of a kind, just before 8pm each evening, prior to some truly spectacular sunsets.
My pictures don't fully capture the beauty of the day and all that surrounds Aspen, but I hope the bring a little light and calm into your life.  Enjoy!  ❤
