GET CRAFTY: DIY CLUTCH ORGANIZER UPDATE + MORE LID RACK IDEAS & GIVEAWAY

Happy Monday, Everyone!

Three years ago, while getting settled into my New York City apartment, I had an idea while in the kitchen isle at Target.
This idea turned into a simple Get Crafty DIY post here on my blog.

See original post here  GET CRAFTY: DIY CLUTCH ORGANIZER USING KITCHEN LID RACK

Since then, my post has gone viral with over 100,000 pins and shares combined, been published in a magazine, featured on Buzzfeed, Yahoo, MSN Lifestyle, Good Housekeeping, Apartment Therapy and in countless blogs.  Say what?!?

I had no idea this was an undiscovered way to store clutches, I was just tired of mine falling over! :)

So, this got me thinking that there must be additional uses for it.  I was inspired to revisit the post that put my little blog on the map, so to speak, and see what my brain could create.

Below, I'm sharing more simple uses I came up with for the very same Lid Rack.  Target still sells it, the only difference is that the price went up $1.  Hopefully, they each offer some more useful ideas.

Enjoy, and thank you to everyone who has supported my blog over the years.  As well as to those of you who liked my idea, shared it and helped to spread the love, I am so very grateful to you

To show my appreciation, I'm giving away this very Lid Rack!

BEAT CLOSET CLUTTER - MY FEATURE IN WOMAN'S WORLD MAGAZINE OUT TODAY

Happy Thursday, Fashionable Friends!

In May, Woman's World Magazine contacted me about doing an interview and featuring one of my DIY closet organization ideas in their July 2016 issue, which hit newsstands today!

I happily accepted, and their Senior Editor, Kristina Mastrocola, was a true pleasure with whom to work.

I was truly honored that they felt my idea, which I originally posted in my Get Crafty: DIY Clutch Organizer Using Kitchen Lid Rack post, and blog was worth featuring in their successful magazine.

Below you can see the lovely layout she created and my feature article.  Pick up a copy of the magazine at your local store, or read the July issue via the Woman's World App on your smartphone, for more fun ideas, summer iced-coffee cocktails, healthy eating tips and much more!

A special "thank you" to Kristina and the Woman's World team!  I'm already looking forward to our next possible collaboration and providing more creative DIY ideas for you in the future.

I hope you are all having a productive week and get to enjoy a relaxing weekend ahead! :)

GET CRAFTY: DIY CLUTCH ORGANIZER USING KITCHEN LID RACK

Happy Monday, Blogland!

For those of you in the US, today is Tax Day, so, be sure your taxes are postmarked! :)

A midst my move to New York City, while out and about shopping for things I needed for my new place, I stumbled upon a Lid Rack in the kitchen aisle at Target for about $6.99 each.

For some reason, and maybe because I don't cook...hehe...I immediately thought...

Why couldn't I put my clutches in it instead, to keep them organized
and standing upright in my closet?

So, I purchased one to test out my little idea, and sure enough it worked perfectly!  Love it when I try to get crafty and it actually works! :)

It was too simple and affordable not to share with all of you, so, here is my little DIY Clutch Organizer!  Enjoy, and feel free to share your ideas in the comments below!

That, plus being published in Woman's World Magazine and featured on Good Housekeeping, Buzzfeed, Yahoo, MSN and many more wonderful sites, has made this an unexpected and lovely journey, Thank You!
