LOOK OF THE DAY: PICNIC IN THE PARK

After work yesterday, I was off a park in North Hollywood to meet up with friends who were gathering for a little casual picnic in the park to celebrate our newlywed friends Mary and J.R.

They put this together for all their friends in LA who might not have been able to attend the wedding in Pawleys Island, SC a few weeks ago, and it was a Fabulous Fall day for the festivities.

Something that I rarely say or think is that it feels like Fall in LA because it is rare to stroll upon leaves changing into crimson and gold hues, and cute little piles of fallen leaves sprinkled around you.

However, while at this little picnic gathering, the weather was crisp and cool, it was cloudy from the intermittent rain showers, and there were trees, that weren't palm trees, all around with leaves changing and on the ground and I was simply loving it!

We also had a little fun playing with the Hipstamatic camera film and filters on the iPhone, which makes pictures retro and vintage fabulous, and took a bunch of fun pictures with it! :)

All and all it was a lovely evening as the sun set, and friends brought their dogs to run and play, adorable Eden is pictured above, the boys threw around a baseball for a little catching fun, and we all grilled up hot dogs and hamburgers while chatting and enjoying the day.
