LOOK OF THE DAY: RED VELVET PANCAKE

This week a couple friends and I headed to Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood to enjoy a Friend's Birthday Breakfast at The Griddle Cafe, which is quite popular for their variety of creative, ginourmous pancakes!

She wanted to try out their Red Velvet PanCAKE, as they put it, and holy moly was it delish! We all shared it since it was oh so big and pretty likely to induce a super sweet sugar rush! LOL! They actually sprinkle hot cocoa mix on top!

Of course I had to capture our adventure's yumminess...

Although I was not sporting any red, I called this my Red Velvet Look of the Day because it is the outfit I wore to indulge in many delectable bites of ruby red velvet pancake! :)

Close up on the owl necklace...isn't he super cute! :)

Close up on my ring.

Ready to go eat a red velvet pancake!

A glimpse of my make-up.

I have to say, my little black 3/4 length blazer from Forever 21 has quickly become one of my favorite, most versatile and classic pieces in my wardrobe...I just love it!

Anywho, if you are in the LA area, I would recommend stopping by The Griddle Cafe because their selection is fantastic, portions are quite large, which makes them perfect for sharing and the prices are great! Although be warned there very well could be a little wait, I'm not sure that place is ever not packed, but it is well worth it!

Also, check out Adorable Aberdeen's recent Look of the Day Cheap Chic post with a super affordable price tag! I was truly touched that I inspired her post, and so happy with the look she created...she has me beat for lowest total look! :)

Side Note: While wearing this outfit, a girl turned to me in the elevator and said, "I love your dress, I have the same one!" I smiled and said, "Thank you, Marshal's!" To which she sheepishly smiled and said, "Oh, Nordstrom." Which means her dress probably cost at least 10 times what mine cost!

...so, you see, no matter how much you spend, you can always create the same look for less, it just might take a little extra hunting sometimes, but that's half the fun! :)
