WEDDING WEDNESDAY: COCKTAIL HOUR & RECEPTION INSPIRATION TEASER

I am in the Big Apple, kiddies! Sometimes I forget how much it feels like home being back east until I am back...I love it! :)

That said, I feel as though every time I turn around it is Wednesday, yet again, where do the days go?!? This also means that my wedding, though quite a long way away, will most likely creep up before I know it!

So, for this Wednesday, I have a little wedding cocktail hour and reception inspiration for you! I pulled a few decorations and details seen at cocktail hours and wedding receptions that I like and thought I would share them quickly since I haven't had much time as a teaser, but promise to work on a bigger post for next week. Enjoy!

Feel free to leave your ideas, do's and even don'ts for wedding receptions in the comments below! You know I enjoy hearing from you and getting your thoughts from experience or just personal preference.

Be sure to check back this Friday for a truly fabulous fashion and shopping lovers giveaway!!! It's a good one! :)

  5. My wedding reception advice is

    1. When someone gives a toast, and everyone raises their glass, and then drinks, do not drink! Others are raising your glass to you and your new hubby. You don't drink to yourself, it's a social faux pas. (You can raise your glass though.)

    2. As you make the rounds greeting your guests, don't take too long at one table, so you have time to see everyone. This is a mistake my husband and I made and we ran out of time.

    Good luck! :)
