WEDDING WEDNESDAY: MY SILVER ACCENTED PEACHES AND CREAM VISION BOARD


It's Wedding Wednesday time, yet again...are you excited?!? ;)

As I mentioned last week, I am obsessed with Pinterest and so I pulled a bunch of images that I liked as inspiration to create my own silver accented peaches and cream wedding palette vision board!

Here is what I created to match my ivory, peach, mocha, branch and silver accents color pallet...

WEDDING WEDNESDAY: PINTEREST WEDDING INSPIRATION LOVE


Happy Wednesday, Everyone!

Today is a dark and stormy day in LA LA Land and I'm loving it!!! It has been raining since the wee hours of the morning, so, I got to listen to the rain falling outside my window this morning before getting up, which was lovely, and is one of the simple pleasures in life that I just adore!

It is still very cloudy and overcast outside, which makes it the perfect day for burning my Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin candle from Bath & Body Works, which is now filling my living room with the oh so cozy and warming scent of pumpkin spice, which for me is the perfect scent of fall and just makes me happy!

So, while enjoying this yumminess, I pulled some inspiration from my wedding board on Pinterest to share with all of you this week. Oh and let me just say that since discovering the magical, addictive world of Pinterest, I've been obsessed...love it!!!

I honestly think I might need a PA soon, not Personal Assistant as it is know in our biz of show, but Pinning Annoymous! LOL! I can't stop myself, and everyday I am finding inspirations from everywhere for everything! I think this about sums it up! :)

What are some of your Pinterest loves, and are any of you as addicted as I am?!? For those of you who are, I say, pin, pin away, and if you don't know what it is, I request giving it a try because it truly is inspiration and sharing fun at the click of a button!

WEDDING WEDNESDAY: SWEET AND TOUCHING MOMENTS


It is mid week, and that means all things wedding! This week, I am doing something a little different for Wedding Wednesday and hope you enjoy it.

Since getting engaged, I have spent lots of time browsing around the internet on a number of wedding websites and blogs, and checking out different photographers styles and what they capture, as many brides-to-be do, which has offered lots of inspiration.

Some of the things that caught my eye most were the sweet and touching moments captured by the photographers of very special moments that make my heart smile! I found myself loving the little notes left by the brides or grooms for their soon-to-be husband or wife and reading what they said...so cute! :)

I think it brings me back to both my sisters weddings and what their other halves did for them on the day of their weddings...

My older sister's hubby-to-be had flowers sent to the room where she was getting ready with the cutest little note attached that said, "Can't wait to see you...I'll be the one at the end of the aisle with the goofy grin!"

My younger sister got a little gift with a card delivered just before the ceremony was going to start as we were getting ready at the church. It was a necklace that went perfectly with her wedding dress and the sweetest, long, hand written card.

...each was so touching and started the tears, which happen at so many unexpected moments during weddings and created sweet memories! :)

WEDDING WEDNESDAY: SHOE INSPIRATION


This Wedding Wednesday is going to be a big breif because I am not on my computer and can't pull from the inspiration I already have, but next week will make up for it! :)

That said, I have pulled a few pairs of shoes that I think are fun and would work with my dress and the look and feel of my wedding to offer a little wedding shoes inspiration for you!





What shoes did you wear for your wedding or are you planning on sporting down the aisle? I plan on wearing heels for the ceremony into reception, but do have a pair of alternate shoes with a very little heel to change into if my feet need a rest!

Quite honestly, what I choose will most likely change as we get closer to the wedding, but as soon as I find something I like and that is comfortable I am going to purchase them so that then my dress can get hemmed to the right length at my fitting!

WEDDING WEDNESDAY: COCKTAIL HOUR & RECEPTION INSPIRATION TEASER


I am in the Big Apple, kiddies! Sometimes I forget how much it feels like home being back east until I am back...I love it! :)

That said, I feel as though every time I turn around it is Wednesday, yet again, where do the days go?!? This also means that my wedding, though quite a long way away, will most likely creep up before I know it!

So, for this Wednesday, I have a little wedding cocktail hour and reception inspiration for you! I pulled a few decorations and details seen at cocktail hours and wedding receptions that I like and thought I would share them quickly since I haven't had much time as a teaser, but promise to work on a bigger post for next week. WEDDING WEDNESDAY: OUTDOOR WEDDING LOVE, LOVE, LOVE


Happy Wednesday, Ladies..and gentleman!

I saw the beautiful wedding below on
Once Wed and instantly fell in LOVE with it! The pictures have all the soft, neutral, "blush & bashful" colors I want at my outdoor wedding next year!

Of course this wedding, like the previous one I posted here for Wedding Wednesday, was photographed by none other than the super talented Jose Villa! He has a way of capturing such romantic colors and in a lovely photography style.

I hope you enjoy this as much as I do! :) OK, here we go, get ready to fall in whimsical love...

WEDDING WEDNESDAY: TO HAVE A VIDEOGRAPHER, OR NOT TO HAVE A VIDEOGRAPHER, THAT IS THE QUESTION


I suppose some questions I have asked myself since getting engaged, among others is...Do I want a videographer? Should I have a videographer? Is it worth having a videographer?

At first, even though I think they are nice and I enjoy looking at others, I thought I don't really need one and that would be a somewhere money doesn't have to be spent. Especially with it being spent in endless other places, thought my mother had mentioned it might be nice.

That said, I would love to share this sweet and touching wedding video with you, which I first saw on Jacin's Lovely Little Details blog awhile back!

It was this sweet and simple video that convinced me my mother just might be right in thinking that hiring a videographer is worth it to look back on in years to come and just be able to enjoy, after the fact, since the day will be so busy, go by quickly and many moments might missed or a bit of a blur.

Awhile back, Sara started following my blog, which was such an honor and I received the sweetest message from her! Just recently, I asked if I could feature her video on my blog and she was so happy and excited to share it with all of you here! :)

Also, there is something so genuine, sweet and touching about seeing a man tear up or get emotional when he sees his bride walk down the aisle toward him...it makes my heart melt and smile every time! :)

I tend to get emotional at pretty much every wedding I have ever attended, but it is such a big, special and meaningful day, I'm not sure how you can't at least be touched! Enjoy...the song choice is lovely too!
