I just met up with my dear friend Tara for lunch at good old Chevy's and am home briefly before running to the airport to pick up my unexpected love who was flying in from Oakland where he was for work.

There are so many ways to wear a nautical look this summer and sport some blue and white stripes...even if you're not a Yankee fan like I am! ;)
In fact, I have a few variations on the look, including blue denim shorts, jeans or even a navy blue skirt other than with the white skirt I chose this time.

Pair any nautical look with a red bag and you will instantly create the perfect, and oh so stylish, 4th of July look.
