LOOK OF THE DAY: NIGHT OUT ON MELROSE FOR A FRIEND'S 30TH

Happy Monday aka start of the week day!

I am here with a Look of the Day as promised last week! I sported this outfit on Saturday night for a friend's 30th birthday celebration at the Village Idiot on Melrose, which was a lot of fun!

I just went into my closet, pulled out a simple dress from Forever 21 and started pulling some fun accessories to pair with it! Truth be told, the look was all put together around my large, gold flower ring I recently bought at an LA boutique! :)

I like to keep things rather simple and have a little fun with accessories. What I like most about it is the fun color of my dress and that the entire outfit was only about $71, which is truly fabulous...or should I say truly outrageous as Jem used to for all you children of the 80's! ;)

We had a wonderful time and it was great getting to catch up with a bunch of people I don't see as often! I had planned to only stay a couple hours, but next thing you know it was 2AM :)

Oh and I tried my first Skinnygirl Margarita, which was lovely, and the red velvet birthday cake was delish!

Also, I got our pictures back from our engagement session from our wonderful photographer and I can't wait to share them with you in some upcoming Wedding Wednesday posts! Many of you have been asking me about them and excited to see them, which is so sweet and means a lot!
