WEDDING WEDNESDAY: ENGAGEMENT SHOOT INSPIRATION

I wanted to start this Wedding Wednesday post by thanking my "grandmother-to-be," (as she adorably put it) Jane who is my faincé's grandmother, for the lovely letter and card I received in the mail from her!

In the handwritten letter, she says she follows me, looks forward to my Wedding Wednesday blogs every week and loved the way I made my bridesmade cards, which made my heart smile! :)

I still write letters and "Thank You" notes, which was instilled in me growing up, but it was so touching to be on the receiving end and meant so much to me...Thank You, Grandmother to-be!!!

Last week, I mentioned that I might post some engagement pictures that I have seen and liked as inspiration for any of you planning for a little engagement photo shoot of your own as I am this summer!

So, without further ado, here are some styles, ideas and pictures that caught my eye...

I guess it is pretty clear to see that I like a lot of Caroline Tran's work and the simplicity and beauty that shines through them. That said, I think each of these photographers was able to capture the love shared between each of the couples in such a natural way!

I am a huge fan of balloons and have always wanted to do some kind of photo shoot with them! Then, I started seeing it done a lot in engagement shoots and I think it looks super fun!

I also like the idea of having some sort of picnic on a blanket on the beach for mine since that also symbolizes how we got engaged as well as pictures with pretty tress around us or in a field and some balloons, of course! ;)

Also, I found another gem of a blog created by Jacin, which offers lovely wedding inspiration this week and wanted to share it with you along with one from Grey who is a stylist...

In the end, I just hope my engagement pictures are cute, fun and natural looking, but we shall find out this summer after our engagement session! If any of you have an suggestions, please leave them in the comments below or send me a message! :)

Thank you again for all the support and I'll be back tomorrow with a Look 4 Less Oscar post!
